Intumescent coatings

Flame Stal® FireProof Solvent is a 1-component intumescent, thixotropic coating based on organic solvents. At high temperature, the coating foams up and forms a durable insulating layer that slows down the heating of the steel. Suitable for fire protection of steel and galvanised steel with open and closed profiles, for fire resistance classes R15 to R60 according to PN EN 1363 1 2012. Has ETA 20/0957 and certificate FIRES 1396 CPR 0199. Applicable indoors and outdoors in environmental classes Z1, Z2, X and Y, and corrosion classes C1 to C5.

Let op!: bij Flame Stal is Piroixonol PT verplicht als verdunner en voor het reinigen van de apparatuur. Bestel Piroixonol PT altijd mee voor een correcte verwerking en om garantie en systeemprestatie te behouden.

Compleet systeem voor brandwerende staalbescherming

Flame Stal Fireproof Solvent wordt door ons geleverd als compleet systeem in combinatie met Monopox FP Primer als hechtende basislaag en Polyfinish MU DL als duurzame topcoat. Deze systeemopbouw is bedoeld voor staalconstructies waar een betrouwbare brandwerende laag nodig is, met een sterke primerhechting en een beschermende afwerking die het oppervlak beter bestand maakt tegen gebruik en omgevingsinvloeden.

Flame Stal® FireProof Solvent is applied to surfaces previously protected against corrosion with a primer paint or to prepared galvanised surfaces. The Flame Stal® FireProof Solvent fire protection system provides flexible and mechanically durable protection, resistant to moisture, condensation, water and weather conditions, including industrial environments. 

As an intumescent coating in sets with suitable undercoat and topcoat paint, it is used for fire protection of steel structures with open and closed profiles working outdoors or indoors, including galvanised surfaces. Before using the system, consult the technical advisor of the paint manufacturer or distributor. Fire protection should only be carried out by trained companies that have received or hold a valid Flame Stal® FireProof Solvent System Contractor's License. The product is intended for professional use.
